adipure 11 Pro TEASER/Specs.

The adiPure 11 PRO from adidas will be adidas new heritage/classic boot for 2012. With this release we will see the end of the adipure series and it will give birth to a newer/lighter classic boot that adidas will refer to as the 11PRO. With this release, the boot will have a newer last that is specifically designed for pro players that offers a superior fit and comfort. With the anatomically shaped last adidas will be able to offer consumers a glove like fit similar to the retro Copa. However, with this boot the weight will be significantly dropped to an astonishing 235 grams, which will rival the Tiempo IV and the CTR360 elite boots.

Another interesting change adidas will make on this boot compared to the other adipure releases is that this 11PRO will feature a calf skin upper which is soft, lighter and more durable then kangaroo leather. However, by doing this adidas will no longer have a boot besides the Copa that is kangaroo leather which is very weird because with kangaroo you get a very supple feel/soft touch that many current OG consumers love and only trust.

Also with this release, which I think should have happened after the second adipure release. Adidas will add flex grooves to the outsole on the forefoot which increases flexibility, decreases stiffness and also improves the fit/performance of the boot in my opinion. With the addition of the flex grooves, I think the boot will be more comfortable than and not as stiff as the last addition aka the adipure IV.

Last but not least, the boot will be micoach ready for smart football. In addition, as I mentioned the weight was greatly decreased because with this boot adidas put the sprintframe outsole on the boot. Bots drop early 2012 Jan/Feb...

Blogger Note: This post would not be possible without the photos from Antonio and I would just like to thank him for his support and passion. Enjoy his leaked pictures of his newly purchased adiPure 11PRO boots. A Footy Guru exclusive…

adiPURE II; STYLE, COMFORT AND GREAT VALUE.

adiPURE II is one of my favorite boots of all time. The combination of k leather upper along with the off center lacing make this boot one of the most comfortable boots i have ever worn. I actually have a pair of these in my closet and have had them for two years. These boots are simple, comfortable, and offer great value in a boot.

11Pro Teaser...

The boot that will replace the current adiPURE IV/series will be this modern looking boot called the adiPURE 11Pro.

Only time will tell how these boots are received by consumers because the adiPURE series has always had a classic/heritage look and feel to it which is definitely not what these say; the 11Pro looks very modern and I think many consumers especially the older generation of players will dislike this boot.

That is what was so great about the adiPURE series is that the boots looked like retro boots made for the modern game.

Adidas AdiPURE IV- REVIEW

Adidas AdiPURE IV- REVIEW

The good: The boot is simple, classic, and based on durability, comfort and style I would choose this boot over any other boot on the market. Not to mention the price point of $140.

The bad: the only thing that could be improved on this boot is the outsole. With no flex grooves on the forefoot I noticed the boot to be very stiff when pushing off.

The bottom line: classic boot that offers great value: price, durability, and comfort are the highlights of the boot. Not to mention the style really grabs your attention if you are a fan of heritage boots aka adidas. How many years has the cop a been around? I work at a soccer specialty shop and we always have people come in looking for them. Just something about a classic that you can not beat.

Comfort/fit: (8/10)
With the straight lacing at first glance the adiPURE seems like a narrow boot but with the k leather upper you can have a simi wide foot and the upper wraps around your foot like a glove. I am not sure why adidas chose to use the straight lacing system because with the off center lacing it gives players a bigger striking surface to to mention with the asymmetrical lacing system it contours to the shape of your foot to provide a glove like fit. To feel the difference I urge you to try on the the adiPURE two and three.
Performance: (9/10)
If you are looking for a heritage boot that overs comfort and a classic soft touch, referencing the upper of the k leather upper then this boot is for you. When you boot this boot on you feel no pressure on the foot. With the upper it fits like a glove, which is what you want from a boot. There is no breaking in, just put them on and play and let your game do the talking. This boot is a classic boot but at 9.8 oz it is made for the modern football game unlike it's daddy the mundial which registers at 11.7 oz. So you can see adidas retooled this boot for the modern game and for the player who wants a classic/heritage boot.
Value: (9/10)
When looking at a boot I want to know the comfort, price, and durability of the boot. As a consumer who takes your soccer serious this is what you should look for. At $140 price point adidas has hit a home run with this boot because for what you get for the price is amazing. It is not plastic, it is k leather and it will go the distance, which means it will last longer then six months. For example, I had a pair of adiPURE boots that lasted me two years which says a lot about the quality adidas is putting out.

Footy Guru Rating:
Comfort/fit: 8/10
Performance: 9/10
Value: 9/10
Overall Score: 8.6
(Excellent) This boot gets a 4 star rating from FOOTY GURU

NEW adipure IV SL comes in white!

Along with the release of a host of new colourways for their AdiZero and AdiPure boots, Adidas have launched a new colourway for the AdiPure IV SL. The SL is a mix of heritage and technology, speed and classy as a traditional leather boot gets a speed boot remodel. This is the second colourway of the SL and we think this White/Black/Gold colourway is pure class.

The SL features the same soft insoles as a regular Adipure IV but the upper is made with softer, lighter, K-Leather – which provides a superb touch and natural ball feel. The redesigned vamp is what has enabled the SL to be lighter. The ‘one touch construction’ means they absorb less water and breaths better around your foot- thanks to Adidas’ ‘X-Static treatment’.

The soft sock liner features anti-slip finishing adding comfort around the midsole and under the tongue and is ergonomically pre-molded to offer more comfort. Adidas’ unique same sprint frame – which is from the of F50 Adizero – is the biggest change on the SL. The outsole provides all of the shoe’s stability through its geometric shape and uses less layers and no insole board. The triangular studs, with a TRAXION™ sidewall, maximizes acceleration, breaking, and turning, while enhancing performance by evenly distributing forces.

Inside the adiZERO problem.

How long will/should your boots last? Do you really need that $300 pair of speed boots? These are questions that every consumer should ask themselves when they purchase their next pair of boots. Do your research and search reviews and other footys sites so you can get the most bang for your buck.

With the release of the second version of the adiZERO many consumers have been asking if the stud problem that many consumers experienced with the first model will still be a factor/problem. Furthermore, after doing some research many consumers experiencing these problems were playing their football mostly on artificial surfaces which is very hard on your boots. In fact, after speaking with a little bird from adidas they said that the boots aka adizero were not designed to be played on turf. Many times consumers have been playing on turf and the cleats have been snapping, which is awful because as a consumer your in the whole if your boots break because these boots are not cheap. So after doing some digging and speaking with various representatives from different boot companies I have learned that depending how much you use your boots and what type of boots you purchase boot companies are hoping/figure that in six months time your boots should be wearing and you will be ready for a new pair of boots. This makes sense from a companies stand point because in six months time they will have that new color or new boot all together. But as a consumer/athlete I want a product that will last me for the eight to ten month range because like other consumers I am price sensitive so I am looking for a boot that will hold up. So what to do now? To be honest everyone raves about speed boots but if you are putting in many hours training and playing on turf you have two options; either cycle your boots so they last longer. For example, at Xavier I sometimes trained in turfs to give my other boots a break. The other option, is buying a heritage boot or power boot because rather then the speed boots many times these boots are made BETTER AND ARE BUILT TO LAST. Boots you may want to seek out that have been some of the best boots on the market in regards to overall value ( price, comfort, and durability) are the CTR, Tiempo, AdiPURE, and the soon to be discontinued Predator X are boots that will last you.

My recommendations are not to wear FG speed boots on turf due to the fact that turf is very hard on your boots. If you do in fact go with a speed boot rotate a older pair of boots throughout the season so you get longevity from your boots. From the bird at adidas, I learned in 2012 that they be updating the outsole to a more specific AG/ artificial grass outsole to combat the wear and tear of the turf on the boots. Secondly, many consumers have been wondering what changes adidas made to combat this stud problem with the second version of the adiZERO. For instance, adidas soccer did a running change and updated on the current models how they attached the cleats to the outsole. Instead of one injection point per cleat they now have 3. You can't see this from the outside of the boot of course, only if you deconstructed it. So in the end, the current
F50 should get better in terms of durability.

If in fact you do in-counter a problem here is the information you need for various sources.

adidas:
If you purchased your adiZERO from adidas directly here is the information you need. It may take time but adidas will replace broken products especially boots and when I called and spoke to the customer service associate he informed me that they will give you money to buy another pair of boots.

SCHWEINSTEIGER Testing adiPURE V?

Many bloggers and other footy sites have taken notice of the most recent boot spy. It looks to me like it has the k leather upper with the popular adidas F50 sprint frame. Could this be a prototype of the soon to be adipure V or even better the next generation of the adipure SL...

adidas Adipure SL released

It seems that adidas soccer can not let off the gas when it comes to innovation and the lightweight boot speed race that we have seen blossom in the past two years within the soccer market. For example, the time has now come and adidas have released the adipure iv sl to the market. with this boot adidas has been able to incorporate a supreme quality lightweight leather upper with their ultra-lightweight speed/sprint frame out sole. Furthermore, to describe the new adidas adiPure SL football boots adidas has ultimately made a hybrid/concept boot from a heritage/classic silo boot and "crafted it for speed" and the modern game.
The lightest adiPure ever created, adidas has produced a k leather boot that just weighs 7oz.. If you look around at the market I beleive this boot will set a benchmark in the boot market, especially when you look at the other heritage boots in the market like the Tiempo and the Puma King. By making this concept boot a reality it gives adidas consumers another option to choose from depending on what demands and what level of football they are playing. By utilizing the the F50 adizero last/sprint frame out sole which has a wider forefoot and platform adidas are able to provide a speed boot with a comfortable fit/heritage old school look/feel.
Would love to hear you opinions about these boots?

What Footy Guru followers are saying about the adiPURE IV:

"i played in the adipure iv for the second time on saturday and they are so comfy. amazingly comfy in fact. good fit all round with no blistering. i could wear them all day. i had the adipure ii and they were lovely with a great feel for the ball. i didnt go for the adipure iii as i didn't quite like the styling although i recognize them as a good boot. the adipure iv nail it with the styling. Between the adipure ii or iv i'd say the iv's just get the nod. Only because they are slightly more comfy than the ii's straight out of the box. The adipure ii is a more narrow boot than the iv but once broken in are super comfy."

Speaking on the behalf of the adiPURE IV "i have not had any blisters, the heels feel fine after breaking them in. after playing for a few hours on saturday, the outsides of my feet were getting sore but there were no blisters. I think once the k-leather stretches it will be very comfy. I played a league game last nite and they felt great, the touch is excellent..maybe its a mental thing or marketing hype, but i feel like my touch is so much better with these because of the k-leather.
