Recently, Pele Sports sent me three different silos of boots to review. In recent months, there has been plenty of positive feedback surrounding the brand and its unique apparel and boots. As of now, after just doing a fit test all three boots are very comfortable and look stylish/slick and i am excited to test the boots out.

Mercurial VIII 8; Teaser image

Teaser image of the 2012 mercurial vapor. Expected to be released spring 2012 with a new outsole, and upper. Weight is unconfirmed but I expect it to be lighter then the adizero.

NEW adipower predator color way...

Recently released and seen on the feet of many of Europe's top playmakers is this new black adipower predator. The amount of color ways in this boot on the market is now five with the DB and the CL color ways being seen as limited/specialty.

It is very interesting that Adidas chose to release the blue and the white first rather then coming out with the black first.

Registering in at 7.8 oz the adipower has taken the soccer boot market by surprise. With this predator Adidas greatly decreased the weight and completely changed the look of the boot to make it look very futuristic and like nothing else on the market. Just think a power boot that weighs 7.8oz?

In the end, it is just not me doing the talking If you look around the professional pitches anyone from a defender to a forward is using this boot which says a lot about the boot and it's versatility and comfort/durability for today's fast paced game. Teaser; adipower predator

Coming in time just for Halloween I expect these boots to drop around 10/1 as well. This is the next color way in the adipower predator. Not a bad release by Adidas, but me and the rest of world are still waiting for the OG black and red color way.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE;adiPower Predator

A look at the newly released Champions League Predator. I personally like the color of the boot and the purple accents are like nothing else on the market. Just tried these boots on and they look better on then on the shelf or in the box. This is not a limited release but I can almost guarantee that these boots will go fast.

Registering in at an amazing 7.8 Adidas has created a hybrid boot that has the outsole of the F50 known as the sprint frame along with the Predator technology in terms if the strike zone and the power spine technology in the outsole that allows for a stiffer outsole and allows the player to generate more power because it eliminates the floppy foot syndrome. In addition, like the popular CTR by Nike this boot has an athletic fit/ off center lacing system which mimics the natural Shape of your foot so any consumer that has a medium to wide foot can wear these boots. The upper is made of calf skin also like the Predator X which is more durable then K leather and also does not stretch as much as k leather.

In the end, I like the idea of making a champions league match boot because it is something different and consumers like myself like to be different on the pitch.

CTR & T90 IV SIMILARITIES

the lanuch of the T90 IV is upon us and to be honest I do not think it is getting the attention it deserves. I respect that Nike is continuing to produce the T90 series because the silo is a power boot and atleast acouple of players on every pitch want that extra bit of technology or support. I think the new T90 will be a hybrid between the CTR and the T90 which could make for a very unique boot. Complimented by your chioce of kanga lite or k leather i think this T90 will make some consumers heads turn. I have seen these boots in person, and just so you know when you see these boots I think you will fall in love with them as well. Not just because of the looks but rather what the shield/new technology can do for you.

If you look above the new T90 will have off center lacing and from the looks of it have the same last of the CTR. This is scary because if the new T90 has the last/shape of the CTR then the boot could quickly become one of the best boots on the market because the CTR has a reputation of being one of the most comfortable boots on the market not to mention its overall value in terms of price and durability.

In the end, I am excited to get my hands on a pair of these boots because I have always been a fan of power boots. In terms of release date, I think these boots will be released sooner then later so I am expecting these boots to be released mid september or early october. The price point will be $200.00 which is affordable especially after both adidas and Nike started making the elite series. Kind of funny, because I can remember when boots went over or around 200.00 dollars and i was a big deal but now you have boots for 350 and even 400 dollars.

OG Predator Color way...

Not sure why adidas has chosen to hold back the release of the OG/Original color way to the North American market because out of all of the color ways I would have thought adidas would have released this scheme first. Just love that classic black/red/white color way...
