“Messi is all in”... ARE YOU?


adidas launch the biggest marketing campaign in the brand’s history

adidas this past week recently released and shared their latest global brand marketing campaign. This is the first time I have seen adidas come together as a collective group and leverage sport performance, originals, and skate/pop culture to deliver a unique view of the different markets in which consumers use their products. The campaign captures and shows adidas presence within sports, music, and fashion. In the video they use well known stars such as Messi, David Beckham, BOB, Katy perry, and Derrick Rose to show each athlete/artist doing what they do best and as the campaign says going "ALL IN".

“In the past ten years we have successfully extended the adidas brand into three powerful sub-brands with adidas Sport Performance, adidas Originals and adidas Sport Style. Now we are proud to be able to show the breadth and depth of the adidas brand in one global brand campaign,” explains Erich Stamminger, member of the Executive Board responsible for Global Brands. “’all adidas’ is the biggest campaign we have ever executed. Its creative concept brings together the diversity of the brand under one strong roof. From the court to the catwalk, the stadium to the street, we are giving an authentic statement with credibility only adidas has.”

Furthermore, the word around the football community is that adidas-sponsored footballers have also received special boots that are inscribed with their names and the brand message on the side, e.g. “Messi is all in”... Would not mind getting my hands on a pair of these boots...
