This is an awesome idea from adidas that ties in an athlete and boot customization. Messi will choose a boot/color way submitted by various footy fans and will debut them in December. To enter the competition, head over to
miadidas and submit your design!
Here is the boot I submitted to the competition. The options are limited when it comes to the base color but I went with gold for the base because it is classy and gold boots are few and far between. In addition, to add pop to the boots I went with infrared TPU over lays to give the boots a unique two tone contrast. Last but not least, I went with a black out sole because it is very unique and it will not show dirt. Best part of the boot is the penalization. Check out the Footy Guru!
