ATTENTION.
Never has it ever been about my brand over someone’s else's
brand. From day one it’s always been about feeding/helping that unique niche
that I like to refer to as "footy lifestyle". The great thing about
footy is that for me personally and thousands of its other followers is that it
has always been a lifestyle. You play it, you watch it, and hopefully you wear
it. So in terms of living the lifestyle and doing it big I would like to give a
shout out to Paradise Soccer Club. PSC is a soccer and lifestyle joint that
just opened up in Kailua, Hawaii. It’s a store but in terms of the lifestyle
and the events they have been throwing is something that I think the soccer
culture over here in North America is really lacking. PSC is slowly building a
brand along with its retail infrastructure that is influenced by soccer, surf,
skating and street wear fashion. This leads me to my next point. They recently
dropped a banger of a jersey along with short film that really dives deep into
what PSC is all about. Check it out boot nerds...
(April 15, 2014) HONOLULU, HI In4mation and Paradise Soccer Club are pleased to announce the release of a limited-edition collaboration soccer jersey. The jersey, which will be featured in a camo print, seamlessly blends elements of both brands together into a product that patrons will be quick to embrace. The product will go on sale Good Friday, April 18, with only 50 jerseys being made. Customers can purchase this unique collab at the Paradise Soccer Club store in Kailua and online at In4mants.com.
“The camo jersey was originally designed for the Paradise Soccer Club futsal team and sponsored athletes,” said Max Anton, owner of Paradise Soccer Club. “For this particular collab, we featured a blend of the Paradise Soccer Club logo and In4mation’s classic circle hi logo with elements of the soccer-inspired hooligans logo mixed in as well. We’re really happy about the finished product. This is just the first of many upcoming specialty products from Paradise Soccer Club.”
According to In4mation’s marketing director, Jun Jo, the collaboration was a longtime coming and signals the first of many future projects between the two brands.
“The collaboration is something that happened naturally. Paradise Soccer Club has always been tight with the In4mation crew and it was a project we were all really excited about. We wanted to show that not only is a soccer jersey something you wear on the pitch, but it’s something that’s also a fashion piece. Because Hawaii doesn’t have its own jersey, let alone a professional soccer team, this piece can really become that and bind the islands together, all the while representing Hawaii. Paradise Soccer Club and In4mation….it’s a perfect mix.
