Nike Tiempo '94 Mid "Air Jordan" Collection

Michael Jordan’s influence is limitless. From the kid dribbling around the local blacktop playground after school to the elite athlete on the pitch, the number 23 has had a resonating effect on anyone who takes balling hard seriously. One of the greatest footballers to ever lace up a pair of boots is Italy’s Marco Materazzi, and in conjunction with Nike’s revival of the Tiempo ’94, the former world-class footballer designed a limited edition capsule of the Nike Tiempo ’94 Mid inspired by the Air Jordan 1 and the city of Milan. The MJ spirit is clearly present in the 3 colorways mimicking the OG fare, while the Black/Royal bleeds the connection with the bold-striped jersey worn by Milan. This set of shoes will release on March 23rd on Nike.com as well as Marco’s store Space23, with a wider global release on March 1st.
With every makeup i am loving the Tiempo ’94 more and more and these classic Jordan colourways are really sick. Materazzi has made these work and yes so often the simplest ideas are the best….remember the Mambacurials?
The footballer has made no secret of his love for the Jays, with his Jordan tats, his own number 23 on his shirt and the name of his Milan sneaker store, all paying homage to the GOAT. And here the nice twist is that these classic MJ colourways  simultaneously honour the city that shaped him, the colours of Inter, the team he is most known for representing, their biggest rivals, and the city that made him who he is.
