Hypervenom update: Two Months After

It just seems like yesterday when the F50 adizero was king of the boot world. As always boots/models come and go and the constant evolution is part of the boot market game.  At this day in age aka back in the day the Vapor was unchanged so the F50 was the great new boot at the time. However, times have changed and in today's boot world there is a new king. The current boot that has taken the market by storm is the Nike Hypervenom. With an athletic fit and a whole new upper aka NikeSkin the boot has quickly caught boot nerds attention. With the off center lacing that mirrors the foots natural shape combined with NikeSkin the boot provides  a barefoot fit and feel that is unlike any other boot on the market. It seems like consumers with medium to wide feet have found the boot to fit like a dream. The Hypervenom comes at the perfect time because at the moment fit and feel is trending. It used to be all about the weight but now it seems like consumers are all about fit and will sacrifice the weight for that improved fit/upper. Unfortunately, Nike have marketed the boot as the ultimate attacking boot but in my opinion the boots fit and feel could be used by any position on the pitch.
So the Hypervenom will probably be boot of the year because with the point of difference the boot offers I do not see it losing steam any time soon unless the boot has problems.
Which brings me to my Hypervenom update....

So I have stated that fit and feel is trending. Consumers have become smarter and in part the materials have greatly improved. Especially the in hand experience....  For example, the NikeSkin is an amazing technology so much that the first time I put the venoms on I was hooked and in love. But in a little over two months it has stretched on my Hypervenom boots and that love affair has come to an end. It was a great idea with the upper but in my opinion it was poor execution. For a supposed agility boot there is a lack of support. When purchasing a boot I want a product that consistently keeps that new boot fit and feel and the only product I have experienced that with is the Predator LZ that features the hybrid touch. The fit is consistent and it feels like a new boot day in and day out. Could be the best synthetic on the market but that is a completely different subject.
After Two months.
Unfortunately, with the Hypervenom the upper has stretched uncontrollably And become unsupportive and I have been experiencing sliding in the forefoot of the boot. So in terms of fit, the Venom will stretch and become unsupportive especially with lateral movements which is weird because the boot is suppose to help your agility.

The second update that needs to be taken into consideration in the development of this boot that I have experienced problems with is how the boot has literally fallen apart within the inside of the boot. The stitching that connects the boots insole/upper has detached and at times the insole has started to move and rotate in the boot on sharp cuts. This is a big problem because with the insole moving it has caused me to get hotspots in the boot which is a big turn off.

Before
Overall, the Hypervenom offers a dream boat ride throughout the first two months but I do not think it has the durability or support to last a whole season. The boot does offer an amazing fit but due to the stretching and the durability I would make sure to keep your receipt when the boots start to defect and slowly die from the inside out. If I was Nike I would fix the upper to be more elastic and keep the new boot fit and feel for longer. My next boot review to look forward to will be the new F50 adizero that will definitely give the Hypervenom a run for its money with the in hand experience that the upper provides. New F50 drops November 1st boot nerds!
