Big fan of custom boots and if you have the extra cash I highly recommend it. With the way boot companies drop new boots/color ways the options are limited. Sometimes they only drop two launch color ways and within a month everybody has the same color and the market is flooded. In terms of customization, I am finding that NikeiD at the moment has the better color ways/options when it comes to customizing your dream boots.
