The WELBECK: NIKEiD Hypervenom Shenanigans

For the first time Nike Football is focusing on customization and individuality. As boot nerds we all know that having the same boots as some other person on the pitch is just the worst thing ever. Often times boot companies drop one or two color ways in a new release and within two months the market is flooded and no one wants to pick up the boots/color way everyone else is sporting on the pitch.
So in an effort to promote the latest Hypervenom release Nike are focusing and showing the possibilities of NikeiD by having some of the professional footballers customize their new breed of attack to their specific needs and tastes. Usually Nike does not allow key marketing assets to ID their own boots because well the normal population can not buy them. I am wondering that because the demand for the Hypervenom is so much that Nike is pushing consumers towards ID because they have inventory problems. I heard that they sold out on Nike.com so one can only wonder if Nike really thought the Venom was going to be this big of a hit with FOT's aka Football Obsessed Teens aka boot nerds.

The latest pro player to NikeiD his new breed of attack is Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck. With the red devil in mind Welbeck went with a red and black color scheme which looks super classy and clean.

In addition, checkout the all black outsole Welbeck went with.... The outsole should definitely be a point of difference on a boot. So many companies are focused on the upper but the outsole is definitely a part on the boot that i like to call the engine. The engine makes the boot go and without proper flex the boot lacks fit and feel/comfort and even more performance. At the end of the day, I have always been a fan of two tone boots and in terms of on pitch look they definitely stand out compared to solid color boots.

Big fan of the New Breed of Attack from Nike and if I could I would customize them but I lack the proper funds to do that. Peep the Footy Guru Hypervenom Review below boot nerds. Have worn the boots so much the Nike sign is no longer present on the bottom of the boot. That's what you call ball so hard... Next color way in the boots drops October 1st.
