Boot nerd photo of the day features the unreleased HyperVenom. In my opinion, the boot is the complete midfielder boot. It has the properties of a mercurial but the glove like fit that the CTR360 offers. With the off center lacing it allows you to get a more improved athletic fit if you have a medium to wide foot. Another point of difference that I like about the asymmetrical lacing is that you get a bigger striking surface on the boot. If you look at your foot everyone has a little curve and the hyperVenom is simply made to mirror the natural shape of your foot. Expect this boot to be a point of difference on the market not because of the upper but because of the way it fits and feels. Nike have created a boot made for the modern day midfielder. The Vapor IX offers a great fit but with the old school straight lacing I feel dead spots on the boot. If you have a little bit wider foot and still want the lightweight boot the HyperVenom might be your next boot... Oh yeah they drop this Saturday (6/22).
