Next release in the Vapor IX is being regarded and referred to as the Neptune color way. With this release you still get the speed control upper and compared to the first two launch paint jobs this release is a little more relaxed and low key.
On field the Neptune color way looks nice and the point of difference for me on this boot is on the instep where it has the OG NIKE. Coming in at 6.6 oz the Vapor IX offers a sock like fit and is perfect for those speedsters with a narrow to medium width foot. Compared to the Vapor 8 the MV9 seems to have more of an elastic upper which reduces stretch and provides that new boot feel for a longer period of time. The Neptune color way is already on field and will release to the public April 1st and will retail for $225.
