As many of you know from following the blog that I am and refer to myself as a boot nerd. I refer to myself as a boot nerd, because I am that kid that grew up and memorized the latest Eurosport magazine. It was my bible to put it simply… I did and still do check out the specs of the latest boot because soccer boots are my passion. Some people collect baseball cards and I simply collect soccer boots.
Furthermore, as a boot nerd I want boots that no one else has. To me your boots should be an extension of your personality on the pitch.Unfortunately, Nike and adidas do not understand this because whenever a new boot drops the market is flooded with the new color way and everyone and their grandmother has them. In the end, it’s not cool to step out on the pitch and have the same boots as your opponents.
However, in some special instances we have seen Puma and Nike release special edition/limited boots. In the end, by making the boots limited it makes it special in the eyes of the consumer. With a limited boot as a consumer you will for sure probably be one of the only boot nerds on the pitch rocking that color way. That makes you unique and as a player you can make that boot your own.
It seems as if Pele Sports will soon release its very own limited edition boot that is unlike any boot I have seen. The boot is called the PeleTrinity 3E SHEONE and is designed by London artist James Choules. The unique color way is inspired by the early 80’s and pays tribute to the introduction of the graffiti era in New York back in the day. In terms of a point of difference you can for sure bet that you will stand out on the pitch with this color way.
In terms of retail, the boots are now available on soccer.com and will have a price point of $200.
For those of you Trinity newbie’s, here is my review of the Trinity Review for your reference. The Trinity which looks like it was designed/developed on another planet at first glance features an extraordinary outsole configuration that is designed to provide the least amount of resistance to your foots natural motion which in turn increases your speed.
In addition, the Trinity features a 1.2mm thick microfiber upper which provides a glove like fit and extreme ball feel/touch. After testing this boot, I could not help but notice the similarities of one of my favorite boots of all time which is the Nike Mercurial Vapor II. After the Vapor II the Mercurial range has not been the same but for the footy fans that loved the OG Mercurial Range here is your answer. The Trinity offers a lockdown effect on your foot. What I mean by lockdown effect is that the boot offers a sock like fit. The upper accompanied by the shape/last of this boot provides an awesome fit that many elite players crave in a speed boot.

Furthermore, the two aspects that make this boot so unique and a point of difference in the speed boot market are the outsole and the upper material that are used on the Trinity. Both the upper and the outsole combined together make a unique boot and provide an awesome fit. Most outsoles used on soccer boots are made of TPU/ thermoplastic polyurethanes that are standard for many of today’s boots like the adiPure or the CTR360 which are around 9 or 10 oz in weight. After testing dozens of materials, Pele Sports found a hybrid polymer material that is extremely light and especially durable due to its molecular properties. At times the review might sound like a science experiment but with this boot Pele Sports brought something completely new to the boot game and during testing I could feel the difference. Furthermore, with this unique outsole Pele Sports was able to reduce the weight of a normal weight of a TPU outsole by 1/3 which is why the Trinity registers in at 5.6 oz.Boot is seriously feather light! From the start, due to the anatomical last the boot contoured to my foot and offered a superior fit and better ball contact/feel than the Vapor and other speed boots like the synthetic adizero F50.
Hopefully, once I receive the "SHEONE" version from Pele Sports I can do the same to show you how the boots look when you go hard. Or maybe I will just give them away and have a video competition for the boots...
