Predator LZ

So the massive news for the 2012 Predator release, is that they will no longer be called the D5. adidas have decided to call them the Predator LZ; the name coming from the lethal zones on the boot, you can see from the images we have of the boots that Lethal Zones will now be embroidered on the upper.

Not sure why adidas have ditched the D5 name, but the 2012 Predator will be called the LZ.

The LZ will feature a new microfiber synthetic leather upper and the five lethal zones on the boot (hence the previous D5 name) which use various pods and stripes that should enhance ball control and passing accuracy. Sound familiar? In addition to the lethal zones and the microfiber upper the LZ will feature the infamous sprint frame outsole to keep the boot light. Boot is expected to be around 8 oz and retail for around $200. The LZ has been rumored to be released around 6/1 but with the improvement/excitement of the Nike MV8 I am expecting Adidas to drop the boot sooner.
