Footy Guru Rise & Grind Crewneck

So this weekend I had the opportunity to work with Josh & Andrew Durano. Both are avid boot nerds and share my passion for art and design but most importantly footy. Big shout out to Andrew who is a multimedia designer for the edits with this launch. It’s amazing how many connections I have made since starting this blog. For example, the logo design on this crew was done by Blaine Pannell who has been an avid Footy Guru fan from the very beginning. Furthermore, we got together to shoot and release the infamous Footy Guru Rise & Grind Crewneck sweatshirt. The scenes/photos have a “No Lost Motion” footy & art inspired feel which is run by Josh Durano who designed and directed this drop.

The sweatshirt which is the first Footy G lifestyle piece is meant and inspired by all those lonely training sessions myself and many other footballers have gone through. Footy is a pretty simple lifestyle. All you need is a ball and a pair of boots and a desire. This crew was inspired by boot nerds that rise and grind on a daily basis. It’s a motif I am constantly seeing on Instagram from the FootyG followers.

As footballers we all set goals but without the hard work on and off the pitch your dreams will not come true. You cannot cheat the daily grind. With this crew there is no bright color it’s just simply made to keep you warm while you are on your grind.

Photos are taken in the heart of the Rose City with as always a ball in hand...
