New release: Tiempo Legend IV

One of the best heritage boots on the market is the Tiempo Legend IV. Boot comes in at around 9 oz and because of the kangaroo leather and the price point it is easily one of the best overall valued boots on the market. The comfort and the simplicity are the highlights of the boot. In terms of comfort, compared to the 11pro from Adidas the Legend is flexible and offers a better overall fit and feel thanks to the k leather upper and one pice TPU outsole.

The latest Tiempo Release that drops January 1st comes in two color ways. The white black/total crimson which is an average release in my opinion. However, the Black/green electric color way is one of the best yet in my opinion. The electric green outsole in my opinion is a point of difference on the boot. Many times Adidas and Nike leave the outsole white or black but as a consumer and on the pitch it looks cheap. With the highlighted green outsole on this boot I am excited to see this boot in person and on the pitch.

Overall, the Tiempo is old school and has that originality look and feel. Main pet peeve on the Tiempo series is that the straight lacing lacks a updated fit. Would love to see an off center lacing system on the boot to improve the overall fit of the boot and to give it a more athletic shape. Coming in at $160 the Tiempo is a steal in terms of overall value.
